Owning your own business, at times (more than you want to admit) proves to be challenging specially staying focused.  More so, when you are dealing with a regular full time, other life demands and on top of it, you are trying to move your dream forward.  I must admit, I have at times wondered If I still have the energy to keep forward with this dream.  Eva and I help each other stay strong and focused, and we give each other the energy to keep going week to week but at times we need more.  We decided to always make time to do something fun, because we have concentrated so much on our business that we forgot about our friendship and we promised each other when we started this venture that we will always be friends first.  She is busy with her work, husband and with her part of the responsibilities in making this dream happen and I am dealing with my regular job, supporting my family get thru difficult times, and also staying focused dealing with my responsibilities in moving this forward. It hasn’t always been easy but we have always managed to get through it because we LOVE what we do and that is the key to everything.

After a great 2016 we decided to start 2017 stronger and even more determined.  Therefore, we put the beads, wires and rhinestones aside and visited the Las Olas Art Exhibit last Saturday January 7th, 2017, and it was amazing!  We had so much fun! I am so glad we took the time to do this because it not only validated that we are on the right path and we are on to something good but to see other artists be so passionate about their craft and share with the world their vision and love for art, made us feel totally energized. I was in awe with some of the pieces so Eva and I wanted to share the following images for you to enjoy. Whatever you do always make time to enjoy the moments and the people around you because if there is something I learned in 2016, is that, when you think you are heading the right way, you quickly get slapped with reality and you need to make choices that you never thought you would be making. Do what you do because you LOVE it and surround yourself with those who love you!
